About hyper buzzard
Notes from one writer, read slowly
hyper buzzard started as a place to publish the articles I keep returning to in my own notebooks: the things I have looked at for too long, the questions I could not answer in a single sitting, and the details that get lost in a fast take.
I wanted a publication built around observation and second passes. Some ideas need time before they make sense, so I write them out, read them back, and revise until the explanation holds up.
This is an independent project. No syndicated formats, no corporate sponsors, and no hot-take schedule. Just patient, plain-language writing, and the detail behind the headline.
Guiding principles
How each piece gets written
Depth over speed
Complex topics get patient examination. I would rather spend a week on one question than publish five shallow reactions.
Plain language
If an idea needs jargon, I explain the jargon first. The goal is for a careful reader outside the field to follow every step.
Editorial independence
Every article is my own work, free from sponsorship and syndicated formats. What I publish is decided by what I find worth reading.
